90% of my scale-up customers who have an ownership problem, it’s usually due to this:

Lack of ownership in engineering often comes with misalignment between engineering and product, especially when:

Senior engineer/s work/s on what they think is important, because they feel they know better what needs to be done and just do it.

And worse, they don’t ever communicate or negotiate with product about this.

No wonder the other engineers don’t take ownership of their work…

Prove me wrong. I really want to hear counter arguments.
